The much loved Sprite epitomised the 1950s/60s era of British sports cars, each with their individual characteristics. The Frogeye Sprite for instance came with no door handles and no exterior boot lid. You just stuffed everything behind the two seats! However, it had a top speed of 82mph, economic fuel consumption of 43 mpg and cost just £669.
